The latest, greatest pizza ever!

With the help of the Kitchen Aid to make the perfect pizza dough and a recipe to build on, last week's pizza creation was one of the most delicious.  This pizza was such a delightful surprise and worked perfectly with our wine choice of the evening.
Pizza with potatoes, roasted radicchio, tallegio cheese and fresh chopped thyme

Tierra de Luna Syrah- Malbec
This winestarted out a little too earthy for both of us.  The remainder was more tasty the second night, after some time allowed the wine to open up to a still earthy, but improved nose and taste with less dirt and just a little more dried fruit.

Garden update

End of the celery for the season- last harvest!

First of the Italian radishes
These are the most tender radishes I have ever tasted and just a little spicy!

First spray of tomatoes on the flamme

First of the mini-bell peppers

The tomatoes are making excellent progress with new growth and new flowers almost every day

Herb Garden Update

The herb garden is growing! We have new plants of marjoram and four different basils, including lemon basil, regular basil, Thai basil and purple basil.  There are numerous thyme plants and a few varieties of oregano.  The tarragon is thriving.  It was fun to create three different foods, cutting fresh herbs for all and to serve a delicious dinner.
